There seems to be a lot a hype these days about the Keurig Coffee machine. Drop in a pod, push a button, and whalla, fresh brewed coffee, or just about anything else you want, in about a minute.
Maybe it’s just me, but who drinks one cup of coffee? Not me. I make a whole pot, pour it into my thermos and off I go. This little routine also saves on the French vanilla cappuccino with a twist of lemon (or whatever concoction you make) that you get at the local donut shop.
But if you’re hooked on the one-at-a-time, made-just-for-me specially brewed coffee that you get from Keurig, there’s good news, my finicky friends.
GE’s new Café Series French Door Refrigerator now has a Keurig coffee machine built right in the door, saving precious counter space for some other equally excessive, expensive new toy.
But to be honest, I have a Keurig, or rather, my wife does. I admit that I haven’t spent a lot of time looking, but while they seem to make every other blend you could possibly think of, I have never been able to find a mocha blend for the Keurig. I am a pure, plain old coffee drinker at heart, but I admit that these are pretty good. Maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough.
In the meantime, I’m off to pour me another cup of plain black coffee from my trusty Thermos.
